Hair Products That Will Wow

Dry Shampoo

Anyone who has tried dry shampoo is #obsessed. Obviously, the handiness of not needing a shower is crazy convenient, and it only takes 10 minutes to add life to your locks (spray your hair in sections, and wait two minutes before brushing). It’s oil-absorbing formula gets rid of greasy and tired tresses, is a great defense against humidity and allows you to go longer between shampoos. Add to thin or volume-less hair in the morning, and it will add body that lasts the rest of the day. Or use before you go to bed, and it will absorb oils and dirt overnight, so you wake up with a clean coiffure.

Coconut Oil

Coconut oil is a magic elixir that can be used in many ways to support lush, shiny and healthy hair. Rich in antioxidants, with antiviral, antifungal, and antibacterial properties, coconut oil can improve scalp health, strengthen hair, support hair growth, and add volume and shine, without perilous toxins. Use as a leave-in conditioner by warming between your palms and applying to the hair shaft, or as an intensive treatment by massaging into the scalp under a shower cap for 1-2 hours or overnight (keep shower cap on to avoid damaging bed linens); wash out with shampoo.

To get rid of dandruff, mix two teaspoons of coconut oil to five drops of essential oils, such as tea tree, wintergreen, lavender or thyme, (or a combo) and massage into the scalp. Cover with a shower cap, use a hair dryer on a low setting for about 20-30 minutes; wash off with your shampoo of choice. Repeat two to three times a week.

Coconut oil has a long shelf life, and will last at least 18 months if you keep it cool and away from moisture.

Hair Perfume

What’s better than a cinematic slow-mo hair toss (c’mon, we all do it!) than to add a bit of scent to your flip. Infused with plant essences, today’s hair perfumes are subtle, relaxing and altogether yummy.
